  I found these people advertising their services on a bulletin in a House of God. A church (St. Josephs Catholic Church) in Bradenton. I explained that my wife would be getting a root canal and that I was paying cash to a
  specialist for that. Then I told them that I've been needing a crown and my tooth is becoming more and more sensitive and that my wife would need a crown over her root canal and that these needs were becoming immediate and asked if they would please let us finance through them.
  
  I am also a healthcare professional but only able to find a half-time job.
  The woman I spoke with refused to entertain the idea of helping us, though I explained that my tooth was becoming more and more painful.
  
  She started to make me feel like a beggar. I am a US Veteran, a born citizen, a resident of Bradenton with a steady income, and I was looking for a little bit of mercy, understanding and humanity, in the form of some time to pay, but she just sent me away with an angry feeling of disgust.
  
  She just kept telling me about all the times they got stiffed,. So now they would turn away a father of 3 very young children with a wife in need of dental attention as well, because they are so afraid that they are not going to get paid. These people are a disgrace to their profession. Any doctor or dentist who is first and foremost so concerned with getting paid rather than to try and help people in pain and in need, who come to them voicing their need for help should not be advertising on a church bulletin. They really have no heart to take on such an attitude. The very next dentist I went to explaining this same situation, told me he would work with me and not to worry.
