  If I could give negative stars and shut this place down I would!
  
  From the beginning of my dealings with Sawgrass I have been up-front about being an out-of-state move. Lynn still had us fill out the application, pay the deposit, and then played us worse than an apartment complex has ever done. We received an income verification run around, then when we showed up in person on a Thursday for a short two day trip to try and get a place resolved we were told that all has gone well with the application and they were just waiting on the background check. After being shown the community grounds and the apartment style we applied for, all was portrayed good to go. Instantly relaxing because my background is squeaky clean, I use the rest of my time in Florida to relax at the beach and get some sun since she said she will not know until Monday. Monday comes and still no word. Tuesday I finally get a response and NOW they are concerned with us moving from out-of-state and not having jobs. No matter we had more than three months’ rent sitting in savings and 7 ½ years perfect payment history for rent. I am told it has to be $30,000 in savings to even be considered without jobs lined up and they tried to get me to give a notice early on the chance they might let me work remotely. I wasted time and money flying down there, applying and losing that money, the opportunity to look for other places, and they put the apartment I had a deposit on back available without refunding me my money yet or informing me that the application was rejected. HORRIBLE business ethics and I advise against this place.
